Based in South Melbourne Town Hall, the Australian National Academy of Music (ANAM) is Australia's leading performance training academy for our elite-level young musicians. Every year 65 outstanding performers from across the country gather in South Melbourne for an intense program of lessons, classes, masterclasses and over 180 performances.

Led by outstanding Australian cellist and Head of Cello and String Studies at ANAM, Howard Penny, this program, crowned by Bartok's exhilarating 'Divertimento for Strings', provides a great showcase for these energetic young performers.
