Since 1998, the Peninsula Music Society has awarded bursaries to assist young musicians of the Mornington Peninsula to further their music studies. There are separate primary/secondary and tertiary divisions and entrants are auditioned and interviewed by a panel of leading musicians, independent of PMS, who decide the winners.
The Bursary Awards provide an annual opportunity exclusive to our local music students. In recent years, PMS has presented bursaries with an annual total value of around $20,000 to these talented students.
